That's why we designed our new center to expand your child's imagination and encourage lifelong, positive values and give parents peace of mind knowing their children are receiving the best possible care. The YMCA offers year-round licensed child care for children ages 6 weeks through pre-K in a totally secure wing of the YMCA where only parents and staff are permitted.

A major objective of the YMCA is to strengthen and support family life and YMCA child care is an ideal way to accomplish this objective. Parents can work and rest assured their precious little ones are in a place where values are important and our trained, professional staff really cares about children.

If you are interested in the best facilities, equipment and a large variethy of options to stay fit, the YMCA is perfect for you. Our brand new community wellness center is now open and the results are fantastic! Featuring 22 pieces of cardio equipment and incorporating the latest technology, our facility is here to help the entire family meet your wellness goals.

Maybe you want to become healthier through exercise and physical activity. If you're a beginner to exercise, we have certified staff to help you get started and answer your questions. We offer free individual wellness orientations to members to help you on your health journey. For those of you that are already active the YMCA offers many options to meet your fitness goals including Fitness Assessments, awesome Group Fitness Classes and Personal Training.

It's not too early to plan how your child will spend the summer vacation from school. YMCA day camp offers a wide array of activities including swimming, arts & crafts, games, sports, nature activities, songs, skits, special events and more. Each week features a different field trip to an amusement park or other fun place. Our trained, certified staff has many years experience directing YMCA camping programs to literally thousands of children.

Member Appreciation Car Wash

 As a member of the Berwick Area YMCA you are special and we want to show our appreciation for your support.  Friday, July 9 is Member Appreciation Day and any member who comes to the YMCA can have their car washed FREE by our staff.

Our front parking lot is the location.  All you need to do is drive up, hand the keys to our staff and we will do the rest.  While you are exercising and enjoying alll the services of your YMCA we will wash and park your car.  You'll come out from your workout to a clean car.  It's our small way of saying thank you so much for being a member and supporting the work of the YMCA in our community.
