Water Exercise



Water exercise is to encourage people of all ages to utilize the buoyant qualities of water to enhance their physical fitness. Water can make some movements possible that would be very difficult on land. It's an ideal form of exercise for all ages and increases physical strength and endurance, without putting stress and strain on joints. Swimmers and non-swimmers can take part in this type of exercise.
 

Senior H20 Aerobics


This program is targeted toward the active older adult, but is a great addition to any excersise regimen. This class focuses on functional fitness activities for everyday living while providing a great cardio workout with low impact on the joints. The class is taught in the shallow end; therefore, no swimming skills are required. Strength, flexibility, and range of motion will be addressed during this low to moderate intensity workout.

Cardio Fit Aqua Aerobics


This fun, invigorating class is designed to stretch and tone main muscle groups, promote cardiovascular fitness, reduce stress, improve physical appearance and develop a sense of well-being through a moderate to high intensity workout. Class is taught in both shallow and deep water; moderate swim skills are necessary.

Cardio Water Yoga


We combine the best of 2 popular exercise programs with our mix of water yoga and latin dance aerobics. A light warm-up is followed by an invigorating aerobics workout set to latin dance music. a 20 minute yoga stretch and cool down prepares you to face the stresses of your busy day. Taught by a certified instructor, this class is perfect for any age or athletic ability.

10 AM Water Posse


The 10 am Water Posse is an informal chat group that meets mid morning to discuss whatever may be on their minds. Laughter, discussion and insite is shared while exercising in our heated pool. A very popular activity for the active older adult. New posse members are always welcome.
