The berwick Area YMCA is a membership organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and meeting human needs in our community. The YMCA's programs, services and leadership build healthy spirit, mind and body by putting Christian principles into practice. We develop, conduct and support programs which foster personal growth, responsible citizenship, healthy lifestyles, and the personal rewards of service to others. Supported by volunteers, the YMCA is open to all; financial assistance is available based on need.

Ther Berwick Area YMCA is a community-based organization, founded and run by community members. We encourage you to get involved. Whether teaching a young athlete about sportsmanship and fair play, helping to organize a special event or giving of what you have so that others can take advantage of all that we offer, we encourage you to contribute to your community through the YMCA.

Volunteers are the cornerstone of the YMCA movement. They coordinate our fundraising and friendraising, coach youth sports, organize programs, mentor youth and make the Y generally run smoothly. Each YMCA is run by a volunteer board of directors who continually give of themselves to ensure that the Y serves its communities in the best possible way.
